A woman shared how her boyfriend promised her a dream gift for her birthday: a 7-day Disney cruise over Christmas. She’s a huge Disney fan, so she was thrilled. She started planning outfits, shopping for swimsuits, and even joined groups about the cruise. Everything seemed perfect. Then, a couple of months later, she found out she was pregnant. She did her homework and discovered she could still go on the cruise since she’d be within the allowed timeframe.
But then, things started to fall apart. Her boyfriend canceled the trip, claiming it was refunded. He began making excuses like, “What if I get called in for work?” even though he doesn’t work between November and January. Or, “I want to spend the holidays with family,” even though he’d mentioned his mom was supposed to be on the cruise too.
The more she thought about it, the more suspicious she became. She started to believe he never booked the tickets at all and just strung her along.
